Apple gave the Pro iPhones a titanium frame this year. But the iPhone 15 Pro Max is still very fragile.
iPhone 15 Pro Max: is quite fragile
You would expect the most expensive iPhone to also be the sturdiest. Unfortunately that is not the case. At least, not according to the video below. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is remarkably fragile.

We already knew that you can see spots and scratches on the colored titanium frame quite well. With a deeper scratch you can quickly see the underlying gray titanium. But that was not the main issue with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Something happened that was a bigger problem. In one of his regular tests, the YouTuber tries to bend the device. By gripping the iPhone with two hands and then pressing against the back with both thumbs.
Usually, almost every new iPhone passes this test without too many problems. However, things turned out differently with the iPhone 15 Pro Max. With just a little pressure, the new iPhone 15 Pro Max started to break. The result is a completely cracked back.
Admittedly, the front was fine and the iPhone still works without any problems. It is also only the glass on the back that is cracked. But it was very striking how easy this was and how fragile the back of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is.
These iPhones are less fragile
YouTuber JerryRigEverything then tried the same with the iPhone 15 Pro, but it was able to withstand the pressure and passed the test without cracking. Also nice: in one of his next videos, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus also underwent the same test and they were a lot less fragile.
Of course, this remains an exceptional situation, but it might be smart not to put your iPhone 15 Pro Max in your back pocket. It is of course always advisable to put your iPhone in a case.
