DS 3 and electric 3 E-Tense: fewer versions, more equipment

Depending on the selected engine version or type of drivetrain, the DS 3 was until now available as Bastille, Performance Line, Performance Line+, Rivoli and Opera. From now on, the delivery range will look slightly different. For example, the Performance Line+ versions will be discontinued and we will no longer see the Rivoli versions on the menu.

As mentioned, the Bastille and Performance Line will continue to exist, but they will also improve. They now both have tinted rear side windows as standard and 17-inch alloy wheels that DS has named ‘Dublin’. Items such as an automatically dimming mirror without a visible frame, sun visors with LED lighting and LED lighting in the footwell are also standard equipment. Are you going for a DS 3 with a combustion engine? Advanced Traction Control is now also standard for these two versions. The Opéra and Esprit de Voyage will continue to exist, as will the Bastille and Performance Line versions.

DS further promises that it will add new functions to the 3’s via software updates in the near future. For example, a Trip Planner will be added to the multimedia system in the first quarter of next year and all DS 3s will receive a monthly report on the maintenance status of the car in the second quarter of next year. Also new will soon be a system that indicates the likelihood of a parking space near the indicated destination.
