DS 4 and 7 Esprit de Voyage: with an emphasis on travel

As of today, the DS 4 and 7 can be ordered as ‘Esprit de Voyage’. These are extra richly equipped 4s and 7s that are fitted with a number of unique details. The DS 4 can be ordered in various colors as Esprit de Voyage in combination with the 130 hp three-cylinder engine or with the 225 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain. The DS 7 is also available with the latter powertrain as Esprit de Voyage, or can be equipped with the 300 hp 4×4 powertrain.

If you order a copy of the 4 or the 7, you can always count on a substantial standard equipment after ticking the ‘Collection’. The two are already based on the most luxurious version called Rivoli, but get a bunch of extras, including seat ventilation and massage and nappa leather on the dashboard. Yet the difference is mainly in the appearance, because the aforementioned items can also be ordered on a Rivoli. You can recognize an Esprit de Voyage by the special mirror caps with an illustration on them, a custom gray tint for the finish of the wheels, different door sills and an embossed European map in the leather on the dashboard on the passenger side. The latter should also remind you of your own wanderlust when you’re in the car.

While you are enjoying it, you enter an environment of light-colored leather. That is reflected on the dashboard, on the door panels and on the seats. The floor mats are also unique to the version, with a piping in a soft gray color around them. If it’s your taste, then you have to save a little. Both the 4 and 7 as Esprit de Voyage cost several thousand euros more than the Rivoli versions of the two. The 4 is equipped with the looks – and always with black windows and roof! – for from €48,240, the DS 7 should fetch at least €60,940.
