DS Automobiles announces by means of a teaser video that it has something new in it. The brand does not hide that it is going to add a brand new sedan to its delivery range.
The model range of DS is currently quite limited with the 3 Crossback and 7 Crossback. Spy images showed us yesterday that the brand comes with a successor for the DS 4 (Crossback), but that is not the only news that we can expect from DS. DS Automobiles is announcing the arrival of a fourth newcomer in a teaser video.
That fourth newcomer is clearly a sedan. DS Automobiles shows fragments of a new model with a ‘separate trunk’ in which DS-characteristic rear light units are given a place. On the tailgate we read the addition ‘E-Tense’ and that means that the car will at least be available with an electrified powertrain. Most likely it is a car that you should see as a DS ‘version of the 508. So count on a car that shares its technology with that Peugeot, but that carries its own carriage. The designation ‘E-Tense’ in that case indicates the arrival of a plug-in hybrid powertrain, since Peugeot of its 508 also has a plug-in hybrid on the menu.
On February 24 all doubts are removed, DS then presents his benjamin in a special place: under the Eiffel Tower in Paris!
