Nice chat

Do you want to quickly figure out something complicated hands-free while driving or would you simply rather talk to a fictional person than to the person next to you? Then you’ve come to the right place at DS. It integrates the AI tool ChatGPT into its cars.
Artificial intelligence will undoubtedly play an enormous role in our lives – if that is not already the case – and car manufacturers have now realized this. For example, we recently heard that Mercedes-Benz will use the well-known AI chat tool ChatGPT for its voice assistant. Now it appears that DS also has something similar planned.
The standard system, DS Iris, can now also handle ChatGPT to provide much clearer, more natural and more extensive answers to questions. Almost no question is too crazy, as you will know if you have ever experimented with ChatGPT. According to DS, the AI tool is seamlessly integrated and chatting simply starts when you say ‘OK Iris’. It will initially be available free of charge to 20,000 DS owners and all current models in a six-month trial period.
Although Mercedes-Benz was there before DS, as far as we know, DS is right when it says that this is a first in Europe. Mercedes has only made ChatGPT integration available in the United States for the time being. A beta test started there this summer, to which more than 900,000 cars were opened. The goal was to integrate ChatGPT into the voice assistant in more countries after three months of testing.
