Dunlop has rolled out a recall in Europe for a considerable number of tire types produced last year in the period October/November. However, the recall does not apply to the Benelux, the relevant production badges have not been sold here.
Contamination under the tread can lead to reduced adhesion of the tread and to the tread becoming loose. This can lead to loss of motorcycle control, increasing the risk of accident and injury.
For this reason, Dunlop has now rolled out a voluntary recall for tires produced from October 20 to November 9, 2024.

According to Dunlop, the recall is part of the company’s commitment to product quality and safety. All recalled tires will be replaced by Dunlop free of charge.
In response, Hoco Parts BV, the official importer of Dunlop motorcycle tires for the Benelux and Denmark, stated that they have not supplied or do not keep in stock tires that belong to the batch of voluntary recall tires.
