The EcoFlow company is introducing three new entry-level models with the EcoFlow River 2, River 2 Max and River 2 Pro. This should make portable power easier and more affordable than ever.
EcoFlow specializes in clean energy solutions and introduces the River 2 series. This affordable series of three entry-level portable power stations under 1 kWh is designed with ultra-long battery life in mind. In addition, the energy generator can be charged to 80% in just 48 minutes. The devices offer a very economical power supply in their category and should provide a reliable energy source for a mobile lifestyle and emergency power supply at home.
EcoFlow River 2, River 2 Max and River 2 Pro
The three models in the series – River 2, River 2 Max and River 2 Pro – are equipped with advanced LFP batteries. With a weight of up to 7.8 kg, the portable power supply is easy to move. Prices for the River 2 series devices start at €299 and have a lifespan that is 6 times longer than the industry average. The River 2 series thus offers a new level of long-term value in the portable energy market and guarantees the widest possible access to the latest clean energy developments.
“The launch of the River 2 Series highlights EcoFlow’s commitment to meaningful innovation that solves real problems,” said EcoFlow CEO Bruce Wang. “With the economic and environmental outlook uncertain, we want to make clean, portable energy available to everyone, everywhere. EcoFlow’s River 2 Series makes this possible by providing practical, flexible and affordable energy solutions for outdoor and indoor activities. “
Portable power supply for all occasions
Thanks to EcoFlow’s innovative X-Stream technology, River 2 Series devices charge an average of 5 times faster than competitors. The standard River 2 model can be fully charged in just 60 minutes and the largest power station River 2 Pro is even fully charged in just 70 minutes. This allows users to plan day trips and get-togethers, even if they are last minute.
The River 2 series can also be charged with solar energy, making it easy for users to green their lifestyle with completely free energy. With a maximum power of 220 watts, the River 2 series devices can be fully charged in 3 hours using portable EcoFlow solar panels.
Reliable energy supply
All River 2 Series models are equipped with the latest long life LiFePO4 (LFP) batteries. Compared to the industry average of 500 cycles, the River 2 series battery life is 6 times longer. 3000 cycles are performed during one battery life, which means that the battery can be used once a day for almost 10 years. LFP batteries provide safe and reliable power and can withstand more extreme temperatures, allowing the River 2 devices to be used in adverse weather conditions. In addition, all EcoFlow River 2 models come with a 5-year warranty and the River 2 series has a TÜV-Rheinland certification.
Economical energy supply
The River 2 Series models cost up to 34% less than the previous series. This reflects EcoFlow’s commitment to facilitating access to clean energy solutions. Prices range from just €299 for the standard River 2 model to €799 for the 800Wh River 2 Pro model. This series therefore offers an entry-level solution at an affordable starting price. In the long run, the fast charging speed and ultra-long lifespan of the devices in this series eliminate the need for frequent replacement, making River 2 the most cost-effective sub-1 kWh portable power station series on the market.
Price and availability
The EcoFlow River 2 ($299), River 2 Max ($599), and River 2 Pro ($799) are available through the EcoFlow Store and Amazon.
