Alpha Motor Corporation has come up with a new variation on the Ace theme. The electric coupe of the young manufacturer will eventually also be on the market as this adventurously dressed Jax version.
At the end of last year, the relatively unknown Alpha Motor Corporation appeared on the scene with the Ace Coupé, a 4.18 meter long electric coupé with a considerable retro design. At the beginning of this year it was also shown to the public as a sporty Ace Performance Edition, of which a raised and roughly dressed Jax edition has now been presented. Thanks to a bullbar at the front and a heavier-looking rear bumper, the Jax is a lot longer than the regular Alpha Ace. The car length is 4.56 meters. Off-road rubber, a roof rack with a set of spotlights and extended wheel arches with silver trim complete the adventurous party.
Alpha Jax
Detailed technical specifications are not yet available. It is clear that the model, which is roughly as long as an Alpine A110, will be available in two variants. There will be a front-wheel drive with one electric motor, but also a four-wheel drive Dual Motor version. The four-wheel drive variant should be able to sprint to 60 mph (97 km / h) in 6.5 counts. Alpha Motor is still keeping an eye on the size of the battery pack, although the company does mention a range of just over 400 kilometers. The maximum towing weight is set at 839 kilos. The Alpha Jax can accommodate four occupants.
The Alpha Ace and its derivatives are only planned for after 2023 by the American Alpha Motor Corporation. In 2023, the company will launch its first electric vehicle on the market, although that is most likely the Icon. This is a modular commercial vehicle of which not only a van and a pick-up, but also an SUV-like vehicle will be launched.
