Electric Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback ready for unveiling

Audi is about to unveil the fully electric Q4 e-tron. The SUV is immediately joined by the Q4 Sportback e-tron, the body variant with a more sloping roofline. Audi shows a teaser image of its electric newcomers and immediately releases an official reveal date.

Fans of the Volkswagen Group’s electric SUV violence can put a big red circle on the calendar for April 14, which is the day on which Audi presents two new electric SUVs. Audi has opted to introduce the Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron simultaneously. That is somewhat striking. To be fair, the Q4’s e-tron has few surprises anymore. Audi has shown the Q4 e-tron itself several times in camouflage trim and the specifications were already on the street. Even before we could provide you with the technical data, it was by no means a mystery that the electric Audi’s on paper would be comparable to the Volkswagen ID4 and Skoda Kodiaq. Namely, the Q4s are based on the same modular MEB base.

At the same time as the first specifications, Techzle was also able to release the first prices of the Q4 e-tron (Launch Edition). The starting price will soon be € 48,500. For that money you get the keys to the Q4 e-tron with a 52 kWh battery and 170 hp and 350 Nm strong electric motor on the rear axle. The Q4s will soon also be available with a 77 kWh battery and a 204 hp powertrain. That variant kicks off an electric range of about 500 kilometers, making it much further than the 52 kWh variants (340 kilometers).
