MG is implementing a price increase on its models in the Netherlands. Not only the electric ZS, 5 Electric and Marvel R are becoming more expensive, the plug-in hybrid MG HS will now also cost just a little more than before.
The MG ZS will be €2,000 more expensive across the board. The electric ZS EV with a 50 kWh battery and 320 kilometers of range now has a starting price of €35,885 as a Comfort and changes hands as a more luxuriously equipped Luxury from €38,385. The MG ZS EV with a 70 kWh battery and a range of up to 440 kilometers costs €39,885 and €42,385 respectively as a Comfort and as a Luxury.

The MG 5 Electric is also becoming more expensive, although the price increase that the brand is implementing on its electric station wagon is €1,000 less than that on the ZS EV. The MG 5 Electric has a new starting price of €35,885. For that amount you get the 5 Electric with a 50 kWh battery and a range of 320 kilometers. The starting price naturally applies to the Comfort version. For the Luxury version you will have to pay at least €37,385. Just like the MG ZS EV, the 5 Electric is also available with a larger battery pack. That variant has a 61 kWh and comes up to 400 kilometers away. This variant is also available as Comfort and Luxury.

MG’s electric top model Marvel R cannot escape a price increase either. The Marvel R is available as Luxury and as Performance. The first version will be €2,000 more expensive, for the Performance flavor you will soon have to pay €1,000 more than before.
