Prices will follow in September

This year you will find a completely new electric model in the showrooms of Volkswagen. We are of course talking about the Volkswagen ID7. Production of the electric ID7 has now started and Dutch prices will be released in a few weeks.
The Volkswagen ID7 made its debut in April this year. The Volkswagen ID7 is an electric, low five-door that serves as an electric alternative to the Passat. And not just for the Passat Sedan, there will also be an ID7 Variant later. The Volkswagen ID7 must be at the Dutch dealers this year and the production line in Emden, Germany, has now started, the Germans report. We do not yet know what the EV, which is important to Volkswagen, will cost. Volkswagen will announce the prices of the ID7 in mid-September.
The Volkswagen ID7 Variant will arrive in 2024.
The Volkswagen ID7 extends over a distance of 4.96 meters, making it about 20 centimeters longer than the outgoing Passat. In addition, the wheelbase of the ID7 with 2.97 meters exceeds that of the Passat with 18 centimeters. So expect quite a bit of interior space in the EV. The difference in size with the soon to be released, all-new Volkswagen Passat will be smaller, as the new Passat grows a considerable size.
Volkswagen ID7
How far does the Volkswagen ID7 get on a full battery? Pretty far, if we are to believe the brand. As an ID7 Pro S, the car must be able to achieve an electric range of about 700 kilometers thanks to an 86 kWh battery (net). There will also be an ID Pro – so without S – with a 77 kWh battery that kicks it up to a WLTP range of 615 kilometers. We also know that the electric German will in any case be available with a 286 hp electric motor. There is also a sportier GTX version in the pipeline.
