Elongated Jaguar XF stretches

The XF with which Jaguar has been trying to win the hearts of the wealthy Chinese consumer since 2016, is just about to be facelifted, just like the XF variants known here. We have the images of that extra long Jag ‘!

A year after the introduction of the current second-generation XF in 2015, Jaguar introduced the XF L to the world. The L version is the variant specially developed for the Chinese market that is not only a lot longer, but also has a considerably longer wheelbase. Where the here known 4.95 meter long XF has a wheelbase of 2.96 meters, the distance between the front and rear axle of the XF L is 3.10 meters. Among other things, it ensures that the XF, which extends over a distance of 5.9 meters, offers rear passengers a sea of space. Ideal for the Chinese market, where extended versions of cars in the D and E segment are still preferred over the variants known here. In fact, like many other sedans, the XF, like its smaller brother XE, only exists in extended form in China. Anyway, the XF goes under the knife and that means that the XF L will also be sharpened soon.

The side-session that the XF L undergoes will hardly differ from the modifications that Jaguar makes on the regular sedan and Sportbrak version. Count on detail-level light units at both the front and rear and sharpened bumpers. The interior is renewed with similar velvet gloves. Count on new materials here, although the biggest change will relate to the infotainment system. Undoubtedly, Jaguar gives its middle sedan the latest version of the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system, complete with an additional screen that controls the climate control.

Later this year we expect to see the renewed XF in person without any concealed sticker work.
