We vote DB11
Aston Martin seems to be working on a facelift for the DB11. The nose of the largest GT model is more visible on new spy images than before.
At Aston Martin they are certainly not just concerned with mid-engine hypercars and supercars. The emphasis has been on this in recent years, but in the meantime the British also have the DB11 and the Vantage in their range. The largest and oldest of the two, the DB11, is due for an update. Initially there was some doubt whether it might be a completely new GT, a belief that our spy photographer still has. However, we think that it is not a completely new ‘DB12’, but a DB11 facelift. That is what this is: a DB11, but with a neatly addressed front. The headlights are a bit smaller than they are now, because a piece is lost at the bottom. The layout is also different and the entire front bumper is new. The typical Aston Martin grille grows a bit, so that it now completely encompasses the license plate.
Further back, the news quickly becomes less. The exterior mirrors seem different from the current DB11, but we see minimal changes to the rear lights and rear bumper. The Aston Martin DB11 will most likely also retain its current engines, albeit in a slightly modified form. The engine for the model is and remains a mighty V12, the 5.2 that, in contrast to the four-liter AMG-V8, comes from Aston Martin itself.
