One of the bigger news that Mercedes-Benz has this year is the facelift of the E-class. During the presentation of its new model, Benz took almost all versions with the exception of the top version. In the run-up to its final unveiling, Mercedes is still making some camouflaged test kilometers.
At the presentation of the new E-class, Mercedes showed all versions up to the AMG E53. However, there was no trace of the extra thick E63. Fortunately, new espionage images confirm that he is on the way. Although the car still has professional packing work here and there, with the facelift already presented in mind, it is very clear what the car will look like.
So assume a slightly revised nose with a modified grille and standard full-LED headlights. Furthermore, drivers are now likely to be treated inside with a redesigned steering wheel and a zipper of standard screens. Since nothing has changed in the power of the 435 hp E53, we can probably assume that the E63 will have the same unaltered 4.0-liter biturbo V8. As standard E63, this block delivers 571 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Who goes for the E63 S variant, gets 612 hp and 850 Nm of torque.
Mercedes has added AMG versions to the range since the third generation E-class (W211). The renewed variant will appear very soon.
