It looks like Porsche will soon show the facelifted 911 to the world. In fact, it already does that, because Porsche is now testing an almost uncamouflaged facelift 911.

Refreshingly, Porsche no longer seems to find it necessary to hide the facelifted 911. Our spy photographer spotted this example around the Nürburgring and although you might think of it as just another random 911 driving around there, it is really the facelifted version that will come on the market next year. How do we know that for sure? Well, Porsche has taken the trouble to cover up the logos. Moreover, there are of course various novelties to spot.

Of course, you can take a closer look at the facelift of a 911 to see what exactly is new. Yet this time it is secretly more eye-catching. At least at the front. There we see a completely new front bumper with striking vertical fins for the air intakes. There will undoubtedly be some differences in how the bumper is laid out in the various versions. In any case, this looks a bit sleeker and tidier than the 992 as we know it now and it gives it a slightly ‘bareer’ face. By the way, although it may not seem like it at first, the headlights are still partly taped shut. So expect that the light signature will also be slightly different.

In any case, it is now completely visible at the back what changes have been made to the lighting. As expected, the bottom LED bars no longer rise in a corner at the end. The lighting looks a bit more straightforward. Here too we see a different rear bumper. We probably have a 911 GTS here, which has the exhausts a little closer together than before. Although it is difficult to see, the photographer assures us that the air intakes on top of the butt are also designed slightly differently.

Undoubtedly, it is now only a matter of months before Porsche lifts the 911 itself onto a podium. Does the 911 make this round of innovation a step in terms of electrification? There may be a new electric motor to help the turbo rev up or perhaps even an electric motor linked to the gearbox for hybrid drive. We wait.
