With the launch of the most affordable Fairphone 5, the company wants to increase its impact by introducing a sustainable smartphone with a long lifespan to a wider audience. The new version of the Fairphone 5 also has an industry-lowest carbon footprint of 37kg CO2e*. With future-proof specifications and Fairphone’s signature easy-to-swap parts, the device offers an improved user experience in all areas.

Price and availability
The 6GB+128GB edition of the Fairphone 5 is available in moss green and matte black on the Fairphone website and through select partners, for a suggested retail price of €549, which is 24% lower than the original 8GB version at launch. The 8GB+256GB edition of the Fairphone is available now for €629. A moss green protective case is also available on the Fairphone website.
