Skoda Octavia RS iV
Skoda presents the RS version of the new Octavia. The sporty label from Skoda now also stands for clean drive technology, the new Octavia RS being a plug hybrid.
The new Skoda Octavia RS comes again as a hatchback and Combi, nothing has changed. The sporty appearance also remains, but of course a new look. Thicker bumpers, a dark grille, various spoilers and skirts and 19-inch alloy wheels are included. And of course a sporty interior with dark fabrics and red mood lighting.
What has changed is the drive. The new Octavia RS is a plug hybrid, based on a 1.4 TSI petrol engine. The total system power of the Octavia RS iV is 245 hp, the maximum combined torque is 400 Nm. A six-speed DSG automatic transmission takes care of the shift work in the fastest Octavia. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.3 seconds, Skoda gives a top speed of 225 km / h.
The electric motor alone delivers 85 kW of power and 330 Nm of torque, which is available immediately upon starting off. With the Octavia, you drive fully electrically over a distance of 60 kilometers. If you charge the car often enough, then an average CO2 emission of only 30 g / km is possible.
The Octavia RS iV will arrive in the Netherlands later this year. The prices are not yet known.
