Ferrari presents new model on June 24

Good morning! We start the day with good news for sports car enthusiasts: Ferrari will unveil a new model later this month.

Through digital Ferrari driver David Tonizza, who appears in the ‘E-sports series’ or professionally played racing games, Ferrari explains that driving pleasure is the spearhead of the new model. ‘Fun to Drive’, as it is called in Italian.

Everything points to the new entry-level model from Ferrari, a long-awaited sportsman for which the name ‘Dino’ is also buzzing in the corridors in 2021. We don’t know whether he will really be called that, but it seems more and more that a V6 behind the front seats will provide the drive. That this does not have to be a disaster, colleague Roy recently experienced with the Maserati MC20.

The Ferrari V6, which is most likely not related to the special example in that Maserati, will also receive electrical support. In this way, the entry-level Ferrari also becomes a hybrid, just like the current top model. That is good for the Netherlands, where CO2 emissions largely determine the price of a car. A Ferrari will of course never be a mass product, but as a hybrid this car does stand a chance here too relatively – relatively! – be accessible.

Ferrari has refrained from teasers for the time being, but earlier we did see the car in camouflaged form. As a small, but emphatically sporty Ferrari, the newcomer will compete with, among others, the McLaren Artura, but in fact also with the MC20. Just a little patience, but this model is now really on its way to us!
