Ferrari is also going for the cross hatchet, although that has taken a long time. In this new batch of spy photos, the model’s first legged leg is wrapped up and seen in public. But is that still necessary…

purosangue. Pure blood. That is the name of Ferrari’s first crossover-like model with which the brand no doubt hopes to take its sales figures to new all-time highs. We were recently able to show you the first allegedly real photos of the Purosangue, but Ferrari has not been fooled by those worldwide distributed records. It’s just testing with packed copies of its potential sales stunner.

Ferrari is very late in introducing a ‘high model’. Porsche, Maserati, Aston Martin and even Lamborghini have plunged into the SUV years ago. However, Ferrari is taking a different path than you might have expected. The Purosangue becomes less SUV and has, for the undoubtedly more than potent technology, sculpted a coach whose basic shape is somewhat reminiscent of that of the FF and its recently buried successor GTC4 Lusso.

Whatever you think of a ‘high Ferrari’, the management in Italy will be the worst. The DBX helps Aston Martin to achieve encouraging numbers, the Cayenne is particularly high in Porsche’s sales statistics and Lamborghini’s Urus also provides the company with sky-high registration numbers. Give them a go.
