Fiat 500 prices down nearly 1,000 euros thanks to a new, cleaner engine

Fiat 500C 1.0 Hybrid Launch Edition

Fiat announces the prices of the 500 Hybrid. The new 1.0 petrol engine with mild hybrid support replaces the current engines. The starting price drops due to the lower CO2 emissions by almost 1,000 euros.

The prices of the Fiat 500 Hybrid are known. Thanks to a new 1.0 three-cylinder petrol engine and mild hybrid technology, the city car has become cleaner and more economical. This also has an effect on prices, which are reduced by 955 euros thanks to the lower CO2 tax. The new starting price of the 500 is 15,735 euros, for the Pop version.

The 1.0 three-cylinder engine replaces both the 0.9 TwinAir and the 1.2 four-cylinder engine. The latter remains available in combination with the Dualogic automatic. All Hybrid versions are equipped with a new, manual six-speed gearbox. The fuel consumption of the Fiat 500 1.0 Hybrid is 3.9 l / 100 km (1 in 25.6), the CO2 emissions are set at 88 g / km.

The equipment levels of the Fiat 500 have remained the same, the model is available unchanged as Pop, Lounge, Star and Rock Star. The basic equipment includes air conditioning, a multimedia system with 5-inch touch screen and door lock with remote control. Fiat also temporarily supplies the Launch Edition, which is based on the Star version and is decorated with a special paint finish, seat covers made from recycled plastic, various badges and specific 16-inch alloy wheels.
