Fiat 500X Yachting
The appearance of the Fiat 500X Yachting is a tribute to the ‘Yacht Club Capri’; one of the most prestigious sailing clubs in Italy.
The unique style is inspired by sailing and the elegance of luxury boats. For example, both the car and the hood are blue and chrome design elements embellish both models. As a sign of the exclusive partnership with Yacht Club Capri, a ‘Yacht Club Capri’ logo is displayed on the sides and back of the two Collectors’ Editions.
The 500X Yachting comes on top of the Cross and Sport variants and is the first open-air 500X. At the push of a button, the electric hood opens and a clear view of the sky is possible. The introductory version comes in the exclusive ‘Blue Venezia’ and has a blue, electrically operated hood. The mirror caps and door handles are finished with brushed chrome. A blue and ivory colored line enhances the car’s profile. Also brand new and exclusive are the 18” lightweight alloy wheels with sea blue design elements.
The sailing-inspired elegance can also be seen in the interior. The white soft-touch seats have a blue embroidered 500 ‘print’. A ‘Yachting’ logo adorns the aluminum sill plates and the car features a mahogany dashboard; another reference to the typical design elements of boats from the Dolce Vita years. The key cover has also been given a new look, in keeping with the body colour.
The Fiat 500X Yachting is expected at the Dutch dealer at the end of August. Prices will be announced later.
