Fierce Toyota GR Corolla even more spectacular

With its 261 hp 1.6 three-cylinder engine, the GR Yaris is a crazy hothatch that is above average in its segment. Toyota also translated the GR Yaris concept to the Corolla. In the United States and in Japan, Toyota supplies the GR Corolla, a wildly covered fun machine with a version of the 1.6 that is also boosted to no less than 304 hp and 370 Nm, which also propels the GR Yaris. At the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Toyota turns the GR Corolla Rally Concept out of the top hat that looks even wilder.

The Toyota GR Corolla Rally Concept is not directly a foretaste of a Corolla with which Toyota will enter the WRC championship. According to the brand, it is mainly an example of the extent to which you should be able to dress the GR Corolla. The GR Corolla received a so-called wide body fitted, complete with thick 7 centimeters wider wheel arches and special sideskifts. Openings have been cut in the front and rear fenders and the GR Corolla is covered with spoilers from front to back and from left to right. The main attraction is the carbon fiber rear spoiler. Toyota parks the GR Corolla Rally Concept on special 17-inch wheels from OZ Racing with Continental VikingContact 7 rubber wrapped around it.

Is it just appearance? Well no. The special show car has a Tein Gravel Rally coilover kit and gets real powerful braking complete with a second set of rear brake calipers. At the bottom of the GR Corolla Rally Concept hangs a modified exhaust system and in the interior you will find, among other things, a roll cage, OMP Racing seats with matching belts, a fire extinguisher, an intercom, and a spare wheel. It is striking that Toyota has left the rear seat, while it also offers a version of the GR Corolla without a rear seat.
