Skoda has released the first new prices of the fourth generation Octavia. The Czech space giant is introduced as a First Edition.
The new Skoda Octavia is an Octavia in every way, and that means that the car must offer a lot of space in comparison to immediate family members such as the Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon. A full price list is not yet available. Skoda does release the first new prices of the introduction edition First Edition.
The hatchback version of the Octavia is in the order books as a First Edition for € 33,490. You have to reserve an amount of € 34,790 for the Octavia Combi First Edition. The First Edition is currently only available with the 150 hp 1.5 TSI, a petrol engine that is linked to a six-speed manual gearbox. Around October, the Octavia’s price list will be supplemented with the other engine versions. For example, the Octavia will be available with a 110 hp 1.0 TSI and a series of 2.0 TDIs. There will also be two plug-in hybrid flavors on the list. For example, there will be a 204 hp Octavia iV and the sporty new Octavia iV RS with a 245 hp plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Equipment
Well, back to the First Edition. This temporarily available introductory version features a 10-inch display as standard with the infotainment system with navigation function. Skoda gives the First Edition a digital instrument panel as standard, and things like adaptive cruise control, full-LED rear lights, headlights with LED matrix technology and heated front seats are also part of the standard equipment. The same applies to parking sensors on both the front and rear.
The Octavia Combi First Edition will be available from Dutch dealers from April 3. The hatchback version follows just before the start of summer.
