First prizes facelifted Citroën C5 Aircross announced

Citroën presented the facelifted C5 Aircross at the beginning of this year. The former top model of Citroën was considerably refreshed and now we also know what you have to pay for it from now on.

The Citroën C5 Aircross received a facelift for 2022, which we can safely describe as fairly radical. It should not only keep the C5 Aircross up to date four years ago, but also make it resilient to competition from its own house now that the C5 X has appeared above it in the range. A properly modified front makes it look a bit more like the C5 X and the interior also looks a bit more modern than before thanks to a newly classified center console with a larger infotainment screen.

On a technical level, it stays more with the known. That means the C5 Aircross is still available with a fuel engine or as a plug-in hybrid. It starts with the C5 Aircross as Puretech 130 with a 130 hp 1.2 three-cylinder petrol engine. In addition, there is the BlueHDi 130 with a 130 hp 1.5 four-cylinder diesel and finally you have the 225 hp Plug-in Hybrid where the 1.6 Puretech petrol engine receives support from an electric motor. Thanks to a 13.2 kWh battery, you can drive up to 55 kilometers electrically with the latter.

Versions

As standard (Live version), the facelifted C5 Aircross includes the 12.3-inch digital instrumentation, 18-inch alloy wheels, two-zone air conditioning, adjustable lumbar support in the driver’s seat and a second USB port in the center console. Above the Live version you have the Feel, which includes Advanced Comfort Seats, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and start, front parking sensors and new 18-inch alloy wheels. The additional cost is currently unknown. This also applies to the even more luxurious C-series, which includes the new 10-inch infotainment screen. The top version is the Shine, with 19-inch alloy wheels, driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, Highway Driver Assist and heated and eight-way adjustable front seats. The Business Plus version, aimed at the business driver, is between the Feel and Shine in terms of equipment. Then you get, among other things, on top of the things of the Feel Drive Assist Pack (Driver Attention Alert, Collision Risk Alert, Intelligent Beam Headlights, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition with Speed Recommendation and Adaptive Cruise Control) and the 10-inch infotainment screen.
