Most definitely: First Zeekr for Europe is for the Dutch

First Zeekr for Europe is for Dutch people

If it were up to Zeekr, it would be happy to greedily take a bite out of the European sales pie of electric cars. More than two years after the Chinese Zeekr announced its intention to sink its teeth into the European car market, the brand’s very first car has now been delivered in Europe. To a Dutchman too!

Back in November 2021, AutoWeek wrote about the arrival of Geely’s Zeekr brand in Europe. It would take some time before the brand shone a more detailed light on its Dutch market introduction, but all open spaces were finally filled in the middle of this year. Zeekr then put Dutch price tags on the electric Zeekr 001 and on the smaller but equally electric Zeekr

What seems? The very first Zeekr delivered in Europe was delivered in the Netherlands. It is a Zeekr 001. And not just any one. The very first Zeekr delivered in Europe and therefore also in the Netherlands is a 001 Privilege AWD, the most generously equipped and, together with the Performance version, the most powerful variant of the 001. It has two electric motors that together produce 544 hp and 686 Nm. This combination helps the Zeekr 001 with an electric range of up to 580 kilometers. So it is not the 001 with the greatest reach. That is the 001 Long Range with a single 272 hp electric motor and a range of up to 620 kilometers.

The question remains when and how Zeekr will further expand its Dutch delivery range. In any case, we would not be surprised if the brand also decides to bring the Zeekr 007 to the Netherlands, a car with which it could harass models such as the Tesla Model 3 and Volkswagen ID7.
