Fisher Alaska

In an extensive presentation, Fisker presented its model range for the coming years. There is also an interesting newcomer: the electric pick-up Fisker Alaska.

Fisker is making good progress. It all starts with the promising Ocean, an SUV with an expected driving range of more than 700 km. It can already be ordered from our eastern neighbours, among others. The Fisker Ocean won’t stay alone for long, because a rougher version called Force E will also be added. Fisker showed it live for the first time during the presentation last night, but there was more relevant news. It also parked the unusually lined Fisker Ronin on stage and the Fisker Pear. Much is known about those two models, especially the Pear. Completely new, however, is the Fisker Alaska, which appeared at the last minute. In 2021, Fisker briefly looked ahead, but the final result looks very different.

The Fisker Alaska is, of course, a direct attack on electric pickups such as the Ford F-150 Lightning, Ram 1500 REV and Tesla Cybertruck. Yet Fisker takes a slightly different approach. According to Fisker, it must be the lightest electric pick-up in the world and it distinguishes itself with, among other things, a special ‘Houdini’ hatch that allows cargo to enter the cabin from the loading platform. For example, you have to be able to store up to 2.8 meters in length in the Alaska. The pick-up will have a maximum driving range of almost 550 km, which puts it on par with the Ford F-150 Lightning. The Fisker Alaska will be on the market in 2025 and it will have an American starting price of around €41,500.

Fisker also not only shows the Ronin and Pear in more detail, but also announces more about it. For example, the particularly designed four-door GT Ronin gets thanks to three together thick 1,000 hp electric motors and four-wheel drive. Good for a 0-100 km / h sprint in about 2 seconds. The previously reported expected driving range is also impressive: 600 miles, or almost 1,000 km. The production version of the Fisker Ronin should appear on the market in the last quarter of 2025. The Fisker Pear will be there a bit earlier, namely halfway through 2025. That is a bit later than initially seemed the goal. In the US, the Pear has a starting price of just under €28,000. Whether and when these new Fiskers will come to Europe and possibly to the Netherlands is not yet known.
