‘Just’ on our side of the Ocean
Fisker has delivered the first example of its Fisker Ocean to a customer. The first delivered Fisker Ocean in the world is driving around today in… Denmark.
That the Ocean will be delivered to our side of the ocean may surprise some. After all, Fisker is based in the United States and likes to flaunt his Californian heritage. Founder Henry Fisker however, is Danish and the electric SUV Ocean is also more European than you think. For example, the car is built in Graz, Austria. So it is not that surprising that the first Ocean customer was found in Europe.
The first customer received the car in Copenhagen from Henrik Fisker himself, who you can also see in the photo above. It is very appropriately a Launch Edition, executed in white. The Fisker Ocean has a WLTP driving range of between 440 and 707 kilometers and seems relatively affordable, with a starting price of around 44,000 euros in Germany.
Special is the so-called ‘California Mode’. This not only underlines our point in the first paragraph, but also enables the Ocean driver to lower all windows and the roof at the touch of a button. With ‘all windows’ we really mean almost all windows, because in addition to the ones in the doors, the rear side windows and the rear window also sink.
