At the beginning of next year, the starting shot of a new race type will be fired for the first time: Extreme E. Well before this moment, Fisker reports as a new participant.
Just two years ago, the Extreme E was conceived as a new racing class. Electric SUVs must find their way through extreme landscapes. These landscapes are scattered all over the world in very remote places. The new racing class is seen as an extreme version of the famous Dakar Rally. Alejandro Agag is at the head of the new racing class. He previously invented the Formula E racing class.
Fisker now announces that it is in advanced conversations with Extreme E about a collaboration. In addition to the collaboration, there is talk of a “potential work team” that will participate. A first enclosed photo shows what the extreme electric SUV should look like. On the side of the high standing EV, in large letters ‘Fisker’ is written.
Other teams that have already confirmed to participate include the German Abt Sportsline, Venturi Automobiles from Monaco and the British Veloce Racing.
