Fitbit Luxe unveiled

Fitbit has unveiled its latest wearable: the Fitbit Luxe. The Luxe stands out mainly because of its design, with a thin, metal casing and an AMOLED screen. De Luxe is the first tracker from Fitbit with a color screen.

The tracker offers all the health measurements that Fitbit now has available: heart rate, activity, sleep and stress. It is also possible to measure oxygen in the blood, just like the skin temperature. The battery lasts up to five days.

Mindfulness

When purchasing the Fitbit Luxe, you get six months access to Fitbit Premium, which provides insight into health data for a longer period of time. After that, you have to pay 9 euros per month (or 80 euros per year) to view these data for longer than a week. Part of Fitbit Premium is a series of more than thirty mindfulness exercises from Deepak Chopra.

The Fitbit Luxe is now available for pre-order 149.95 euros. There are several stylish straps for sale, including a Parker link bracelet in collaboration with the jewelry brand Gorjana.

Stress management score to all wearables

Fitbit introduced the stress management score with the Fitbit Sense. This score is now also available on all Fitbit trackers and smartwatches with heart rate measurement, including the Charge 4. It looks at your heart rate and how it changes through a meditation session.
