Flitsmeister lacks an important function
The user conditions of Flitsmeister have been updated! The navigation service has announced that you can use a paid Flitsmeister account immediately on only one device. Since October 1, 2025, it is no longer permitted to use an account from Flitsmeister on several telephones. With that, Flitsmeister loses an important function, because you can no longer share a subscription to the navigation service with others.
Before October 1 it was possible to use a paid Flitsmeister account on different devices. This function came in handy if, for example, you have a private and work telephone, on which you use the navigation service when you are on the road. Do you want to use your paid Flitsmeister subscription on two or more devices? Then from now on you have to take out an extra subscription.
Account Sharing from Flitsmeister Pro
The adjusted user conditions relate to Flitsmeister Pro and Flitsmeister Pro Plus, the company paid for the company. For Flitsmeister Pro you pay 2.99 euros a month, then you get access to a number of exclusive functions. For example, you can only use Flitsmeister for a fee in CarPlay or Android Auto, you see the current speed in Flitsmeister Pro and you can use the service without advertisements.
At Flitsmeister Pro Plus you get all these functions, but you also see your journey and flash history. You can also challenge fines with this subscription. For the most expensive Flitsmeister subscription you pay 6.99 euros per month. Do you think that is too much? In that case it is no longer possible to share the account with the Flitsmeister subscription with others. From now on you have to take out a paid subscription for that.
More changes at Flitsmeister
Flitsmeister has implemented more major changes in the application in recent months. For example, the free version of Flitsmeister has lost many important functions. Where you could always use CarPlay and Android Auto before, this is now an exclusive feature for paying subscribers. The current speed has also disappeared behind the payment wall. Many users are therefore dependent on the paid version of Flitsmeister.
Probably many users now share an account with each other to save monthly costs of Flitsmeister. That now wants to prevent the navigation service, with which Flitsmeister follows popular streaming services such as Netflix and Disney Plus. With these services it has long been forbidden to share an account outside of a household. So Flitsmeister goes one step further and limits a paid account to just one device.
