Ford F-150 poisoned by Hennessey

The men and women of Hennessey Performance, based in the US state of Texas, have unleashed a knowledge and skill on the Ford F-150. The pick-up is injected with Hennessey’s Venom philosophy.

Hennessey Performance is a tuner with a preference for modifying American-made models. The company gives cars such as the Dodge Charger, Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang but what would like a power cure that boosts the power to sometimes as much as 1,000 hp. The Venom F5, the successor to the Venom GT, is considered an absolute top version in the Hennessey Performance portfolio. The Venom F5 is after all a more or less completely self-developed hypercar. The Venom addition today finds its way to a less obvious model: the Ford F-150.

This Hennessey Venom 775 Superchargerd, as the car is called in full, is of course not nearly as fast as the Venom F5, a car that must be able to reach more than 480 km / h. Yet this fierce F-150 is not exactly a slapjanus. Hennessey Performance screws a huge supercharger and the 5.0-liter V8 that boosts the power of that block to a whopping 787 hp. With this, the pickup will sprint in about 4 seconds to a speed of 96 km / h (60 mph). Don’t forget that Hennessey’s creation is equipped with a lift kit and is therefore extra high on its feet. In addition, the Hennessey Venom 775 Superchargerd is equipped with off-road tires with a diameter of 35 inches. Extra powerful Brembo inhibitor must be able to adequately halt the collision.

Hennessey Performance asks roughly € 48,500 for the tuning package. Then you must of course supply your own F-150. The Texans will build a total of 100 pieces.
