Ford Focus Sedan also tightened up

Yes, more Chinese news related to the Ford Focus. The Ford Focus Active Wagon, renewed at the beginning of this month, will be joined by a renewed Focus Sedan!

Ford carried out a remarkable facelift to the Focus earlier this month. In China, the Focus Active Wagon, the only version of the Focus Wagon that Ford offers there, was given a new muzzle. Now the Ford Focus Sedan is also equipped with that new key. The Focus Sedan is extra special for the Western European consumer. It is a completely unknown here. Unlike the first, second and third generations of the Focus, Ford does not supply a sedan of the current model here.

Ford Focus Sedan Titanium (pre-facelift, 2018-2020)

As with the Focus Active Wagon, the headlights are optically connected with a chrome strip. Below it we also see a new grille with a different shape and framed by a black band. In the photos, the Focus Sedan can be seen as a Titanium version, a luxurious version with chrome work and a light interior. The front bumper of the Titanium version is completely new and is characterized, among other things, with a chrome strip that runs over the entire width of the bumper. The diagonal fog lights have been removed. Ford also supplies the Focus Sedan in China as an ST-Line. What seems? The sporty ST-Line retains its old snout.

Something special stands out in the interior. The renewed Chinese Focus gets a new infotainment screen. With a diameter of 12.3-inch, the screen is a lot larger than the 8-inch large screen that is in the Focus in Europe. According to the Dutch importer, it is unlikely that this new larger screen will also come to Europe in this form. Earlier we saw that the Mondeo in China also got a larger screen. That adjustment would also miss the boat to Europe. Ford has also renewed the control element of the climate control that is located under the ventilation grilles on the center console. The Chinese Focus and Mondeo are being built for the local market in China by joint venture Changan Ford.
