With the launch of the Mach-E, Ford has launched the start of its electrification. The brand is now looking ahead to its further electrical plans for the near future.
Ford sends a photo into the world with its entire range displayed on a huge parking deck. Dark clouds with lightning bolts gather above the double row of Fords. Remarkably, two models are hidden under a large canvas. Given the theme of the plate, this concerns two future electric models. The right plate leaves little to the imagination, because the canvas does not hide the fact that it is a delivery van. He seems, however, noticeably larger than the Transit Custom, which is parked a little further on by Ford. In terms of format, it reminds us of the larger Transit.
A passenger car is completely hidden on the left. Less can be said about this, but it may be the new Mondeo that follows soon. Both cars are part of Ford’s larger plan to have 18 new electrified models before the end of 2021. Ford says that “all models, from the Fiesta to the Transit” get an “EV option.” A plug-in hybrid Fiesta is therefore likely to arrive soon.
