Those who especially want a lot of value for their money have been looking for a Ford Mondeo Hybrid for some time now. That car now gets an even more attractive price, with a permanently impressive standard equipment.
In terms of price, the Mondeo more or less drops back to the level of the introduction years of the hybrid variant. The party now starts at € 35,400 for a sedan in Titanium trim, which, as previously explained in detail, is already quite spacious in its stuff. The sportier ST-Line is available from € 37,200, while you pay a minimum of € 42,050 for a particularly luxurious Vignale. The Wagon, which is available in the same flavors, requires an additional investment of € 1,500.
With these prices, the Mondeo is across the board € 2,345 cheaper, a special number that is undoubtedly no coincidence. All Mondeos have a hybrid powertrain with 184 hp. That drive is built using Toyota patents, although Ford does provide the technology itself. The hybrid power keeps consumption and therefore CO2 emissions low, which of course partly makes the low price of this model possible in our country.
Hanged
To be fair, such a Mondeo is of course no longer hip. In 2020, this applies to almost all large middle class cars, but it certainly applies to a model that was already produced in 2012 and has since been modernized only in detail. Ford no longer wants to invest money in the development of a new model in a segment that is on its hole worldwide. Instead, it follows a path that this brand often chose: the existing model is nicely hung and sold at an attractive price (m / f).
