By far the most expensive Mustang ever

The absolute top version of the new Ford Mustang is called Mustang GTD. Is there room in the Netherlands in 2024 for an extreme Mustang with an 800 hp 5.2 V8? According to Ford, yes! You have to dig deep into your pockets for it. The expected Dutch starting price is closer to €500,000.
The new Ford Mustang can already be ordered in various flavors in the Netherlands. It is available as a Mustang GT with a 446 hp 5.0 V8 and is available with the eight-cylinder as a Fastback and as a Convertible and you can also choose from a manual gearbox or a ten-speed automatic transmission. The starting price: €131,900. For those who are not enough, Ford has the 453 hp Dark Horse on the menu, which is only available as a Fastback. The already presented Mustang GTD will be above this. Dutch interested parties can now register for one of the available copies. However, the expected starting price is certainly not cheap.

Ford Mustang GTD
Anyone who aspires to own a Ford Mustang GTD should check his or her savings balance carefully. Ford communicates an expected Dutch starting price of – hold on – €476,800. For that amount you can buy three GT Mustangs with a manual gearbox and then you will still have a good €80,000 in your pocket. What do you get for your almost half a million euros in Ford Mustang? Of course a lot. The Mustang GTD has a 5.2-liter V8 with a powerful supercharger, a machine that increases the power of the top version to more than 800 hp. The Ford Mustang GTD is essentially the road-going version of the Mustang GT3 racing car. Shifting is done with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission mounted on the rear axle. Naturally, the chassis has also been extensively modified, complete with step-in dampers and springs. Braking with Pizza XL size discs should bring the Mustang GTD to a decent stop again.
Ford goes the extra mile for those who want an even more extreme Mustang. This includes a Performance package that includes adjusted aerodynamics and the Lightweight package. As part of the Lightweight package, the Mustang GTD has less sound deadening material to save weight. 20-inch magnesium wheels are also part of the Performance party.
