Ford has now brought the Mustang Mach 1 to the Netherlands and is making more known. The starting price appears to be slightly lower than initially expected. With automatic transmission, the Mustang Mach 1 is a bit cheaper.
Enjoying a super powerful V8 in a new car is becoming rarer than ever. Fortunately, the Ford Mustang is still there and the – for us – crème de la crème of Mustangs is now also available here. The Mustang Mach 1 squeezes 460 hp and 529 Nm from the 5.0-liter V8, 10 hp more than in the Mustang GT. Naturally, the chassis and appearance have also been addressed and a modified exhaust system ensures that the Mach 1 is also really unmissable in terms of sound. We already knew that the Mach 1 would be available with both the six-speed manual Tremec and the ten-speed automatic, but the exact prices are now also known.
Contrary to what we heard earlier, the starting price is not € 115,115, but € 113,615. For that money you get the Mustang Mach 1 with the automatic transmission. With 4.4 seconds it can be hunted from 0 to 100 km / h slightly faster than the version with the manual gearbox, but has a lower top speed at 249 km / h. The Mach 1 with manual gearbox takes 4.8 seconds to sprint and accelerates up to 267 km / h. You will have to pay € 115,470 for that.
