Good news for those who aspire to a Ford Mustang Mach-E but found the starting price of over 58 grand a bit too much. The electric SUV will be more than €7,000 cheaper and Ford will enter the price war in EV land.
Ford is into it. It will double the production of the Mustang Mach-E this year and simultaneously implement a model year update and a significant price reduction on its electric SUV. After the model year update, the Extended Range variants – with the exception of the GT – also have a maximum tow weight of 1,500 kilograms. Ford is updating the SYNC 4 infotainment system, which now includes a completely new interface for controlling the climate control and heated seats. We find the biggest news on the price list. The starting price of the Ford Mustang Mach-E drops by more than €4,000 to €53,900. For that amount you get the Ford Mustang Mach-E in an unnamed basic version, with the well-known 75-kWh battery and the 269 hp electric motor. In this configuration, it travels up to 440 kilometers on a full battery. Standard equipment includes Active Park Assist, adaptive cruise control with Lane Centering Assist and Stop & Go, an electrically heated windshield, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and the SYNC 4 infotainment system.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E with 75 kWh battery and 269 hp is also available with all-wheel drive. It costs €65,770 and is therefore 3 grand cheaper than before.
Ford Mustang Mach-E with 98 kWh battery
As before, the Ford Mustang Mach-E is back with the larger 98-kWh battery. That Extended Range-called variant is always performed in Premium trim and is available as a 294 hp rear-wheel drive and as an all-wheel drive with 351 hp. The Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium 98 kWh Extended Range with rear-wheel drive costs €59,400 and is therefore no less than 7 grand cheaper than before. The Mustang Mach-E Premium 98 KWh Extended Range with all-wheel drive has a starting price of €70,940 and is now exactly €5,000 cheaper.
Mustang Mach-E GT
At the top of the status ladder is the sporty 487 hp Ford Mustang Mach-E GT with 98 kWh battery and all-wheel drive. You previously paid €83,990 for that, but that most powerful variant is now €79,200 in the order books, a small €4,800 less.
