Those who want to go to their final resting place in style will probably not immediately think of the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Yet that electric SUV can also apparently be transformed into a hearse. The British company Coleman Milne proves this.
Always wanted to take your last ride in a Ford Mustang? That was not possible until now, if we disregard the first and fifth generation Mustang converted into a hearse by creatives in the US. Now the British hearse builder Coleman Milne comes with a possible answer, although you have to consider your love for the Ford Mustang equally broadly. It is in fact a converted Mustang Mach-E, which of course has little to do with the regular Mustang, except for its name. The electric SUV turned out to be an excellent basis for a dead-quiet hearse.
There is also a stretched Ford Mustang Mach-E as a follow car.
Coleman Milne has lengthened the Ford Mustang Mach-E considerably to make it spacious enough for a box, which is also well visible behind truly immense windows. The now almost 6.28 m long Ford Mustang Mach-E is now just under 2 meters high at its highest point and has a wheelbase of no less than 4.08 m. It does not come alone, because Coleman Milne also has one real limousine version of the Mustang Mach-E that can be used as a support car. Both the hearse and the support car have a 75-kWh battery pack, with which a driving range of about 320 km is possible. That should be enough. The Etive baptized hearse and the support car can still be used this six months.
