Ford Puma ST fully in the picture!

With the Puma, Ford has added a strikingly aligned and dynamic driving compact crossover to its model range. A sporty ST version fits perfectly with that and so it is not surprising that Ford has such a sport variant in its barrel. Our espionage photographer managed to get the Puma ST into view almost without camouflage.

The red Puma on this set of photos carries pieces of black tape here and there, but that is of course not enough to disguise the appearance of the new sportiest version of the Puma family. The Ford Puma ST is not only equipped with sporty-looking bumpers on both the front and rear, but also has turned-on side skirts, sporty light metal and a rear spoiler in black. The Puma ST is also a few centimeters closer to the asphalt than the regular versions.

We expect Ford to give the Puma ST the same heart as the one in the Fiesta ST. That means that the Puma ST also comes with a 200 hp and 290 Nm strong 1.5-liter three-cylinder with turbo. With that power station, the Fiesta is able to shoot at a speed of 100 km / h in 6.7 seconds. This Puma ST will take a few tenths of time for this.

Count on a more rigidly adjusted chassis and the possibility to put the Puma ST in driving modes such as Normal, Sport and Track. There is also more powerful brake on board. In addition, the interior is undoubtedly equipped with things like sports seats and aluminum pedals. We expect to see more of the Puma ST later this year.
