Ford also brings the sporty dressed Ranger MS-RT to the Netherlands. Ford immediately announces the price of this and also that of the MS-RT versions of the Transit Custom and the Transit Connect.
Last summer, Ford announced that the Transit Custom MS-RT and Transit Connect MS-RT, which were unveiled in 2018, would also be available here. The sporty-dressed Transits will be joined by the Ranger MS-RT. It was unveiled this week in the United Kingdom and it is also coming to the Netherlands, we now know.
For the Transits and the Ranger, sportier bumpers with large air intakes, modified grilles, OZ Racing wheels and numerous MS-RT logos provide extra visual indulgence. Ford’s affiliate M-Sport – which is developing the MS-RT versions – has clearly been busy. The Transits are also equipped with a spoiler on the back, a splitter under the front bumper and a real diffuser at the rear. The interior of the Ranger is particularly striking; there you will find leather upholstery with orange stitching.
In terms of motorization, it stays with known options. The Transit Custom MS-RT has the 185 hp 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine in the nose, with a torque of 415 Nm. Switching is standard with a six-speed automatic. The Transit Connect MS-RT gets its power from the 120 hp and 270 Nm strong 1.5 EcoBlue. This can be linked to a manual six-speed gearbox or a six-speed automatic transmission. Finally, the Ranger MS-RT is equipped with the most powerful diesel from the Dutch pick-up engine range: the double-blown 2.0 EcoBlue, which mobilizes an output of 213 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It is in all cases equipped with the ten-speed automatic transmission that we also know from the Mustang.

The Transit Custom MS-RT can be ordered immediately from € 53,525. The Transit Connect MS-RT too, which has a minimum price of £ 33,350. The order books for the Ranger MS-RT will not open until this summer. Ford does let you know that the Ranger MS-RT has a price of at least € 50,900. Please note, all these prices are exclusive of VAT and bpm.
