Ford refreshes the exterior of the Fiesta and adds the latest technical features. The performance version Fiesta ST is also being overhauled.
Thanks to the update, the Ford Fiesta gets LED headlights for the first time; a 12.3-inch customizable digital instrument panel; and the driver assistance systems Local Hazard Information (dangers on the selected route) and Wrong-Way Alert (against wrong-way driving). If the car is equipped with Sync 3 multimedia, Rear Occupant Alert is now standard: the warning not to forget your kids and pets in the back when getting out.
The hood is positioned higher, as is the grille. The rear lights have a black bezel. New options are also available such as LED taillights in Premium Black; and Matrix LED technology with automatic high beam. The range of alloy wheels has been expanded with seven new designs. There are also two new body colors, Boundless Blue and Beautiful Berry.

For the sporty Ford Fiesta ST developed by Ford Performance, there is also a new paint color, ST Mean Green. This ‘hot hatch’ also has a modified exterior design, with a more aggressive front; a honeycomb structure for the grille and air intake below and the larger intakes to the side. The front spoiler lip, side skirts, rear spoiler and diffuser are in body color, the 18-inch light-alloy wheels in dark Magnetite.
Ford has developed new Performance seats with 14-way adjustment options especially for the ST. The model gets sporty design details, including the flattened sports steering wheel and accents in red and carbon. Also not unimportant: the maximum torque has increased by 10 percent to 320 Nm between 1,600 and 4,000 rpm.
Prices will follow at the showroom introduction, possibly this autumn.
