Electric E-Transit and E-Tourneo will follow later, as well as plug-in hybrid

The first prices of the brand new Ford Transit Custom have been announced. The van has a starting price of €31,670. It will also be available as a plug-in hybrid and as a fully electric E-Transit Custom.
In mid-2022, Ford pulled the curtain on the all-new Transit Custom, its competitor to the Renault Trafic, Opel Vivaro and Volkswagen Transporter. The new Transit Custom made its public debut as a fully electric E-Transit Custom with a driving range of 380 kilometers, but what that electric van will cost Ford is still a secret. Furthermore, the prices of the plug-in hybrid variants are not yet known. However, the prices of the diesels have been released.
Ford traditionally offers the new Transit Custom in a wide range of length and height versions, including single and crew cab variants. For the time being, the Ford Transit Custom is only available with a ‘single cabin’ and therefore with two seats and two lengths and one height. The Ford Transit Custom L1H1 has a starting price of €31,670. Please note that, like all other prices mentioned in this article, these are exclusive of VAT and bpm. The starting price applies to the Transit Custom L1H1 fitted as a Trend with a 110 hp 2.0 diesel engine. Prefer the 2.0 with 136 hp? Then you will have to pay €32,710 for a Transit Custom of the same design. Switching is done in both cases with a manual six-speed gearbox. The 136 hp diesel is also available with an eight-speed automatic transmission and costs €34,510 with the same configuration. Ford also supplies a 170-hp 2.0 diesel that always has the eight-speed automatic. However, you are by definition dependent on the Limited version. It is available from €38,170. The Transit Custom L2H1 – the longer version – is available with 110 hp diesel in Trend version from €33,470.
As said, it does not stop with diesels. The Transit Custom will also receive passenger versions and there will also be electric versions. Both the passenger version (E-Transit Kombi) and the higher-quality and equipped passenger car variant (E-Tourneo Custom) will follow this year. Ford later expands the range with Trail and Sport models.
