Gemballa Avalanche 4×4: extreme 911 for every terrain

Gemballa normally knows quite well to provide discussion material with well-adjusted Porsches, but this goes a step further. The German tuner gives a taste of an extreme offroader based on the Porsche 911.

After a few decades of experience with major adjustments to Porsches, Gemballa is starting to focus more and more on its own creations. An own hypercar is the most concrete example of this, but with this Avalanche 4×4 there is also clearly more going on than just a substantial modification of an already existing Porsche. Although these first sketches will of course be a rather fierce representation of reality, it is clear that Gemballa has been busy with what was once a 911.

The Avalanche 4×4 is still recognizable as a 911, but everything is said with that. The majority of the car, from the hood to the front and rear bumper, from the sides to the roof, has been completely overhauled. The whole stands very high above the ground on wheels that are ready for a generous portion of blubbergeweld. A huge rear spoiler and air happers on the roof must keep the Avalanche 4×4 on rough ground as much as possible.

Count on it that the power source in the back of the Avalanche 4×4 makes this a super fast off-road vehicle. If Gemballa chooses the most extreme powertrain from its own shelves, 818 hp and 1,098 Nm will be distributed across all four wheels. In the GTR 8XX Evo-R biturbo from Gemballa, that modified 3.8 boxer engine provides 0-100 km / h acceleration that is over in 2.38. The 200 km / h is even reached in 7.5 seconds. In the Avalanche 4×4 that will undoubtedly go a little slower, but you must probably come from a very good family to be able to keep up with this monster outside the beaten track.
