Google Chromecast Successor Is Coming (And This Is What It Looks Like)
The Google Chromecast has been a great device for making your television (a lot) smarter for years. There have been different versions of the Chromecast over the years and they secretly looked quite similar. However, Google is taking a completely different approach with its successor.
Photos have now surfaced of the possible successor with the name: Google TV Streamer. The first thing you notice when you look at the photos is that the shape now looks more like a kind of set-top box. So you no longer plug it into the TV with the USB port, but place it on your TV cabinet.
Rumors say that the resolution of the device remains the same, so you are still looking at this Google Chromecast successor with a maximum resolution of 4k. The remote control also looks pretty much the same, but there are a few changes to be spotted. The remote has become a bit longer and some of the buttons have been moved.

The Chromecast is fast, but can sometimes stutter a bit when you have watched Netflix for a while and return to the main screen. Then it takes a bit too long to go to another film.
