Google Pixel 6 (Pro) finally gets March update, fixes issues

The Google Pixel 6 (Pro) will (finally) receive the March security update. This update should fix previous Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues, but unfortunately the update itself comes with some new bugs. For example, the Message Box app from the government would suddenly no longer work properly.

Problem solved, but last in line

Earlier we wrote about the problems caused by the February update for the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro. After this update, several users reported a problem with Wi-Fi connectivity that keeps dropping. Bluetooth signals and mobile networks also seemed to suddenly disappear. In addition, several users indicated that, after installing the update, the Wi-Fi connection automatically turned off after a while. About two weeks later, Google confirmed the issues and promised that the March update would include a fix to fix the problem.

And early this month, we wrote that Google was rolling out the March security update to the Pixel 3a, Pixel 4 (XL), Pixel 4a (5G), and to the Pixel 5(a). The Pixel 6 (Pro) can expect an update later in the month, and now it’s finally here.

New issues

The hope is that the problems with the new update will actually be solved. However, the new update seems to come with new issues. That’s how it came to us Telegram Channel the message that the government Message Box app would now stop working properly since the new update. It is not yet known whether this is due to the update, or whether this is an issue related to the March update.

The March update for the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro are being rolled out in phases, so you may not have received the update yet.

Have you already received the update, have your problems been solved and are you bothered by the new bug? Let us know in the comments below this article.
