Google Pixel 6 sold out everywhere: selling like hot cakes? (Update: Google response)

Google will soon run out of stocks of Pixel 6 (Pro). The new phones are difficult to obtain from French or German stores and in most cases you end up on the waiting list. It is not known when the phone will be back in stock.

*Update 21/10 at 1:15 PM: Google has given Androidworld more clarity about the stock shortages. We have added the information to this article.

Google Pixel 6 sale

If you would like to buy a Google Pixel 6 in the Netherlands, it is best to do so from abroad. The phones are also imported by Dutch web shops, but then you pay a lot more. We explain in detail how to buy abroad in this article. Although there is now an additional obstacle for those who want to shop abroad. Two days after launch, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are currently nowhere in stock.

Google launched another pre-order promotion to make pre-ordering more attractive, because those who order before October 27 will receive a Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 for free with their order. It clearly did not miss its effect. From Germany to France and from the Saturn to the Google Store: you can’t pre-order anywhere. In the best case scenario, you can register yourself for the waiting list or you can add the phones to your wish list.

German webshops like this are out of stock

What is the cause?

At first there was uncertainty whether the Pixel 6 will be ordered quickly, or whether Google has fewer devices in stock due to the worldwide chip shortage. Although the Pixel 6 is not officially for sale in the Netherlands, Google Netherlands could confirm to Androidworld that the devices sell very well. Problems due to a possible chip shortage would therefore not be the basis of the looted electronics stores.

Google could not confirm when the devices will be back in stock, but as soon as we receive more information from the company, we will update this article.

Where can you still order?

Where you can still order the Pixel 6 is at Belsimpel. But there you pay a lot more because the webshop itself has to order the devices from abroad. You pay 799 euros instead of 649 euros for the Pixel 6. The Pro version costs 1,049 euros. The web store also indicates that you will have to wait at least six weeks for the delivery of the Pixel 6 and eight weeks for the Pixel 6 Pro.
