Harley-Davidson has launched a second model based on the Revolution Max 975T V-twin: the Nightster Special. According to the Americans, the new night owl enhances the driving experience of the Nightster launched last year with a large number of improvements in style, convenience and technology.
A Nightster, but prepared for riding with a pillion passenger, equipped with a headlight fairing and a slightly different seat, that is, in a nutshell, the Nightster Special, the second model of the 975 platform, which is otherwise equal to the nightster.
The Nightster Special is equipped with 4 driving modes: Road, Sport, Rain and the User mode, which can be adjusted to your own taste and smell. Naturally, the bike is equipped with traction control, as well as Drag-Torque Slip Control System, cruise control and a USB charging point.
Harley-Davidson mentions the use of a passenger seat and duo footrests as the most important features of the Nighster Special, so that you can now take someone on the back. That was also possible with the regular Nighster, but not before you first shopped in the accessories catalog.
More interestingly, the handlebars and 5-inch riser moved the position of the hands 5 inches up and 2.5 inches back, which must have created a more dominant riding position.
The most striking differences compared to the Nightster, however, are the small headlight fairing and the aluminum cast wheels, which are now also equipped with tire pressure monitoring as standard.
The round 4-inch TFT display, which can be controlled via the switches on the handlebars, supports infotainment via your Bluetooth-connected smartphone, but to take full advantage of this, your helmet must be equipped with a headset. You can then make or receive calls using voice commands.
Navigation is provided by the Harley-Davidson app for iOS or Android. You can choose a moving map view or a turn-by-turn map displayed on the screen, supported by audio instructions through the headset.

The 2023 Nightster Special is available in the colors Vivid Black, Black Denim, Bright Billiard Blue and Industrial Yellow, prices from € 21,795.
