Hyundai is expanding the Kona range with a sporty N version. It appeared today without any form of camouflage material. The Kona N was caught recording promotional material.
It is equally well known that Hyundai comes with a sporty Kona N. Although the Kona N has already been seen quite well on the latest teasers, it has never appeared in the picture as well as today. Looks like Hyundai was recording. Fortunately, our spy photographer was nearby.
Hyundai Kona N
Hyundai tried to cover the Kona N with black plastic, but the damage had already been done. The Korean retains the striking nose that we know from the other Kona versions, although the sports enthusiast peers into the world much more aggressively. There are three holes between the headlight units and the mesh in the grille is also a specific N mark. The Kona N has a sportier bumper with red accents. We also encounter that in the rear bumper.

At the bottom of the rear bumper, two large round exhaust tailpipes hang on either side of a diffuser. The rear bumper is further decorated with two closed ornaments that should pass as openings. At the top of the rear window is a spoiler in which a triangular third brake light is fitted. The Kona N stands on black alloy, complete with an N logo on the center caps. We also encounter that N logo in the grille. The Hyundai emblem in the grille is in black, the same applies to the roof rails, side mirror caps and various accents in the bumpers.

The Kona N gets a blown 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, which may deliver between 250 and 280 horsepower. That turbo engine sends its powers to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The unveiling will probably not be long in coming. Hyundai Netherlands says it has not yet decided whether it will also bring the Kona N to the Netherlands.
