The Spanish Hispano Suiza shares a picture of the previously announced special edition of the Carmen that will be brought to the Geneva Motor Show the following week.
Last year, Hispano Suiza presented the Carmen in Geneva, a new supercar with a whopping 1,019 horsepower electric powertrain consisting of two electric motors. The Spanish company is also showing its Carmen to the public during the upcoming edition of the Swiss auto show, but not just one.
Hispano Suiza brings an even stronger version of his Carmen to Geneva. The striking appearance distinguishes itself, among other things, with a copper-colored grille from its ‘regular’ brothers. In addition, the carbon fiber used for the coach of the car is completely visible.
The ‘normal’ Carmen sprint in less than three seconds to a speed of 100 km / h. The top speed is 250 km / h. There is an 80 kWh large battery pack in the bottom, although the company already announced that there will also be a variant with a 105 kWh unit. The newcomer to be presented in Geneva may have the package that makes that longer electric breath possible. The radius of action of the latter version is said to be more than 400 kilometers. Despite the presence of the battery pack, the Carmen must weigh less than 1,700 kilos. That relatively low weight is also possible thanks to the car’s carbon fiber base. Hispano Suiza Cars is only going to build nineteen copies, each of which will change ownership for no less than 1.5 million euros. The first Carmens must be delivered mid this year.
