Honda announces new EV

Honda has a completely new concept car behind the scenes, with which the brand looks ahead to a new electric model!

Honda will present a new study model to the world later this month. The new concept car has not yet been officially named, but that does not make it any less interesting.

According to Honda, it shows with its new show car what we can expect from a new EV. However, the chance that the eventual newcomer will come to Europe seems quite small. Honda describes the car as the first EV to market it in China. After all, the Honda E, known here, is not for sale in the Asian country. Although Honda does not say that the car is specifically intended for the Chinese consumer, it is quite possible that the upcoming EV is specifically intended for that market. The teaser plate shows a car with an apparently minimalist design. Honda gives the concept car flat, sharply cut LED viewers and connects them via an LED strip. One floor down on the muzzle, Honda places an illuminated version of its emblem.

We’ll know more later this month. The concept car will be presented to the public at Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2020) on September 26.
